The 2024 Oncology Nursing Society Metro Denver Chapter Conference is a one day oncology nursing education program designed to meet the educational needs of the registered nurse and other healthcare partners who care for people living with cancer.

The goal of the cancer conference is to provide knowledge to elevate and support quality cancer care. Basic to intermediate concepts related to comprehensive cancer care will be shared to expand clinical skills, increase knowledge of the latest cancer treatments, and to enhance professional development while promoting networking.

    1. Review clinical applications and diagnostic and therapeutic approaches in primary care, with an emphasis on the care of diverse populations facing a cancer diagnosis

    2. Develop inter-disciplinary, multidisciplinary, and cross-modality communication strategies for the holistic treatment of disease

    3. Encourage candid conversations, independent of race, that directly affect standards and pathways of care in family practice settings and in early cancer care interventions
